IndividualOn the high plateaux of the Essonne Department in the heart of a unique natural and cultural heritage location, you can enjoy an authentic stay at the Héliomonde naturist holiday centre while you recharge your batteries. The centre is in a listed woodland area of 47 hectaresand places the environment and ecotourism as its core values.
Héliomonde is a completely pedestrian holiday centre : electric vehicles are available for hire (one of these will be loaned free of charge for your installation and departure). It is also possible to hire bicycles from reception.
Héliomonde provides all the facilities to ensure your holiday is a success. There is a magnificent naturist swimming pool of course, where you can enjoy nude bathing. And you’ll love Hélio-plage (Hélio-beach) with its deckchairs, palm trees and parasols right in front of the pool, just 45 kilometres from Paris! In addition, the mini-club and games area are always popular with children.
Finally, you can take advantage of the onsite communal barbecues, a laundry area, charging stations for electric vehicles and a selective waste management area.
The Essonne Department has 400 kilometres of waterways, two regional nature parks, 2,300 kilometres of hiking trails, 130 leisure sites, 267 historical monuments and museums, as well as 15 reception and information points for tourists. It is impossible not to find something to please! The region is also home to the chateaux of Versailles, Fontainebleau and Vaux-le-Vicomte; the literary house of Victor Hugo; the house of Jean Cocteau and Saint-Chéron ecomuseum, not forgetting the unmissable sites of Paris and Disneyland! And gastronomists can set off in search of the best local delicacies and delight in the taste of Marcoussis strawberries, Gâtinais honey, whisky from the Chevreuse Valley, etc. Did you know that watercress is considered the ‘green gold’ of this French Department? There are a wealth of things to be discovered and enjoyed here!
